using the website

by using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the website, its systems, or other people. do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, scrape the site in a disruptive way, or misuse another person's information.

to place an order, you must be able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate buyer and payment information.

orders and payment

when live ordering is enabled, prices, shipping, and any applicable taxes will be shown before payment. an order is not accepted until age hams or its commerce provider confirms it. payment processing may be provided by a third party under that provider's terms.

age hams may decline or cancel an order when information is incomplete, payment cannot be completed, a product is unavailable, or the order cannot be fulfilled lawfully. if a canceled order was charged, the payment will be returned through the original payment method.

card and delivery details

you are responsible for reviewing the card to and from names, ham selections, requested timing, outer shipping recipient's first and last name, and delivery address before placing an order. the card to and from names are for the inner white envelope, not the outer shipping label. a requested arrival date is a request, not a guaranteed delivery date.

by providing another person's name or address, you confirm that you are authorized to use that information for the requested mailing.

shipping

u.s. orders ship by usps for $2.50 per mailing address. orders are mailed monday, wednesday, and friday. before major holidays, orders are mailed every day, and a current website notice will identify when that schedule is active. international shipping is planned for later and is not available yet.

no returns, refunds, and resends

age hams does not accept returns. refund requests are reviewed case by case. if age hams sends the wrong card or hams, you may choose a free resend or a refund. if age hams makes an address error, or a correctly addressed package is lost in the mail, age hams will resend it at no cost. if a package cannot be delivered because the address supplied with the order was wrong or incomplete, a replacement resend is available for 25% off.

product and website materials

the age hams name, website, card artwork, ham artwork, text, photographs, and other materials are owned by age hams or used with permission. personal use of the website does not transfer ownership or permission to reproduce, sell, or distribute those materials.

third-party services and links

the website may rely on or link to third-party services, including commerce, payment, hosting, mailing, and social platforms. age hams does not control the availability or separate terms of those services.

service availability

age hams may correct errors, update the website, or pause a feature when reasonably necessary. no website can be guaranteed to operate without interruption. nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

disclaimers and limits

to the extent permitted by law, the website is provided as available and without warranties that are not expressly stated here. age hams is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or an order. age hams' total liability for a product claim will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order. these limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of ohio, without limiting consumer rights that apply under other mandatory law.
